80%I like [Rosie] a lot. The robot collect more dust and… my back does not hurt compared to using the manual vacuum. Also, my hands were full of calluses but not anymore because I have been using [Rosie] for a long time.
Usually at the end of the day I’m worn out and tired. But even after the first day [of using Rosie], I felt like I could do more.
When I first heard about Maidbot, I was a little skeptical because there have never been robotics in housekeeping and Rosie had not been deployed in a hotel, long-term, before our pilot. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the immediate value I saw for our property: everything from the efficiencies in room cleaning to the value in the data dashboard; especially around mold detection and WiFi signal strength. The room attendants adapted well to Rosie and many stated they were left feeling more energetic at the end of the day: feeling less pain in their shoulders and wrists. Maidbot was extremely hands on during our pilot program and took as much load off our team as possible. They wanted to know the good and the bad from the testing firsthand to ensure they were building something useful for us so they really acted as a partner throughout the process.
Our pilot program was very successful, and we are looking forward to their full product launch after the final enhancements have been completed on Rosie.
I found Maidbot to be the most effective and productive team in driving rooms productivity.
Since integrating Rosie into our housekeeping operations, our hotel has been able to offer more consistently clean hallways while the house-aides responsible for vacuuming, are now able to focus on other tasks such as assisting RAs in turning rooms faster
